Haverfordwest Priory

The Priory of St Mary and St Thomas the Martyr was a thriving religious community until the dissolution of the monasteries was ordered by Henry VIII.

By the 18th century the former priory was a picturesque ruin but was a favourite subject for artists and illustrators and remains so today.
