Haverfordwest Castle and Foundry

This 1872 painting by William Pitt is one of the best known and loved views of Haverfordwest Castle and is especially interesting as it shows the Marychurch Foundry on the banks of the Cleddau.

Because the painting of the castle is both detailed and accurate it would suggest the same is true for the depiction of the foundry.
